On Sunday, January 25th, Faith Baptist Church Kwacha welcomed three CABU Alumni as 2026 pastoral interns: Francis Nkhoma, Bernard Puta, and Gibson Sichizya. These men will serve alongside the pastors throughout the year. Please keep them in your prayers.

Training That Happens Every Day

Training at Central Africa Baptist University (CABU) takes place every day—on campus, in the classroom, and through one-on-one mentorship.

Men preparing for gospel ministry are encouraged to complete a pastoral internship for a year immediately following graduation. This season of hands-on ministry, guided by faithful local church leaders, is a critical part of shaping young men into servant-hearted shepherds prepared to serve the church.

Why CABU Supports Year-Long Church Internships

From time to time, CABU has received funds that allow us to award scholarships to help cover the costs of these year-long local church internships.

Why?

Because we are intentionally laboring to produce servant leaders who are well-equipped to church-plant, pastor, and revitalize churches across Africa… and it is working.

By God’s grace, 95% of our graduates are serving in and through their local churches in 13 countries – to the glory of God alone.

Partner With Us in Gospel Ministry

We invite you to partner with us – partner in a ministry that is producing consistent, verifiable fruit through men like Francis, Bernard, and Gibson.

When you donate financially to CABU, you are directly investing in the training of men like these.

May God continue to fuel the mission of Central Africa Baptist University!
