Numbers can tell a story. But behind every number is a name, a community, a life changed by the gospel. That’s what our 2025 Impact Report is about.

Victor Pakini graduated from CABU in 2021. Today, he’s planting a church in Katete village—a remote community on Lake Tanganyika where many once trusted in witch doctors. Katete Baptist Church now stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness, with two young men already being discipled to help lead. Victor’s story is one of 1,630.

Since CABU’s founding, 1,630 awards have been given across all programs. That includes 154 Bible graduates equipped for ministry, 226 chaplains serving in prisons, hospitals, and the military, 117 certificate graduates reaching the Deaf community through sign language, and 89 teachers carrying the gospel into classrooms. Ninety-five percent of our alumni are actively serving in their local churches. And they are spread across 13 African nations.

The Department of Theological Studies by Extension celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025—and what a year it was. Over 1,972 students attended TSE classes, with 995 of them brand new. That’s 38 cohorts, 109 block classes, and 385 graduates in a single year. Pastors like Justine Lungu—serving more than 550 miles from our campus in Chipata—are being equipped without needing to leave their ministries.

Beyond the campus, Faith Radio 92.1 FM reaches a broadcast area of 3 million people, with over 1 million tuning in daily—and that reach is expanding into two new areas in Zambia. Imbila Publishers hosted its first-ever Writers Conference and distributed 1,500 Bibles and 361 pastors’ booksets across Zambia. And in July 2025, we announced the launch of Central Africa Seminary—a brand new ministry arm offering graduate-level theological education for the next generation of African church leaders.

Finally, we are celebrating what we believe is one of the most significant milestones in CABU’s history: the unanimous appointment of Dr. Chopo Mwanza as Vice Chancellor, effective January 1, 2027. What began as a burden placed on our hearts years ago has grown into a movement of gospel-centered leaders serving across the continent. And now, it is time for this vision to be carried forward by a man God has raised up from among us.

We invite you to read the full 2025 Impact Report and join us in praising God for what He has done—and in praying for what He is yet to do.
