We launched a project last May to stock the shelves at the Kasonga Theological Library with 30,000 volumes… Here is an exciting update and an invitation to help us load a third shipping container with books for the library… READ ON…
Central Africa Baptist University (CABU), is on a mission to train the next generation of leaders who will be theologically equipped and practically prepared to spread the gospel across Africa. The vision is to see Christ made known through healthy, reproducing churches in every village, town and city in Africa.
A vital piece of training leaders is to provide them with access to a robust theological library. The Paul Kasonga Theological Library is on the campus of Central Africa Baptist University in Kitwe, Zambia and is named in honor of the first ordained Baptist Pastor in Zambia, Paul Kasonga. With 9,200 square feet of floor space, our mission is to stock the shelves with solid theological and ministry resources.

PROJECT UPDATE: 37,825 BOOKS SHIPPED AND COUNTING!
We are thrilled to announce that through the first two shipping containers, we have successfully sent 37,825 books to the Kasonga Theological Library! This incredible milestone is a testament to the generosity of our supporters. Currently, our third container is approximately two-thirds full, and we need your help to fill it before the upcoming shipment deadline. Here is a video explaining the project!
THIRD SHIPPING CONTAINER UNDERWAY!
We asked for your partnership to gather 30,000 books to ship to Zambia for the Kasongo Theological Library, and your generosity has already surpassed that goal. We estimate that when the third container is packed we will have a total of over 50,000 books to add to the Zambia collection! Praise the Lord!
Christianbook International Outreach, a non-profit ministry in Peabody, Massachusetts, has graciously agreed to handle the logistics, receive and pack donated books, and send a third 20-foot shipping container directly to the CABU campus in Kitwe. So here is how you can help to top off this container with quality books!
