Zambia Hunt

One day, I was looking for some papers in my big metal file cabinet. I had just come back to my home in Africa after being away for a while.

As I was searching through the files, something unexpected happened! I saw a little poisonous snake’s head pop out from between the papers. What a surprise!

I jumped back and called for help. My friend Godfrey, who works in the yard, came running. We carefully took the drawer outside.

Godfrey helped me make sure the snake couldn’t hurt anyone. We were safe!

After everything was okay, I thought about how God was with me the whole time. Even when surprising things happen, God is always there to protect us and keep us safe.

Here is a very good verse to memorize, and quote it anytime you are afraid! Isaiah 41:10, So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I learned that in Africa, you should always be ready for surprises! But I also learned that no matter where we are or what happens, God is watching over us. God is always with us even when unexpected things happen to us!
