The following is the statement we use at Kitwe Church to guide our ministry.
MISSION: The mission of Kitwe Church is to glorify God by making disciples who joyfully live for Christ and eagerly carry out His mission among the nations.
THIS MISSION BEGINS AT HOME! Our calling is to raise a generation of God-loving, sin-hating, Spirit-filled, compassionate-hearted, gladly-abandoned men and women who know the Scriptures, love God in truth, and serve others by proclaiming gospel truth for their salvation and sanctification!

Children are ALWAYS a blessing from God. Ps. 127:3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
But children are delivered to us with a sin nature, without discipline, selfish, foolish, and knowing nothing. God expects Christian parents to:
- Provide for your children. 1 Tim. 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Protect your children. Heb. 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.
- Discipline your children Pr. 29:17 Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.
- Disciple (train) your children. Eph. 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
At Kitwe Church, our goal is to supplement your efforts as parents to train your children in the fear of the Lord.
At Kitwe Church, our goal is to introduce children to God and instruct them in His precepts.
At Kitwe Church, our goal is to develop in children a heart for God so that they will serve Him all the days of their lives.
- We have a Creche’ for babies ages newborn to 3yrs.
- We have a Junior class for children ages 4-12yrs.
- We have monthly Teen Bible Study and Activity for ages 13-18yrs.
In Conclusion:
The Children’s Ministry at Kitwe Church is committed to partnering with parents in nurturing the spiritual growth of our youngest people. We recognize the vital role of both family and church in shaping a child’s biblical worldview. Through age-appropriate training, biblical instruction, and a loving environment, we aim to lay a strong foundation for faith that will guide children throughout their lives. Our ultimate goal is to see each child develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in biblical knowledge, and become active participants in God’s mission. As we work together – parents, church leaders, and the church family – we trust in God’s grace to raise up a generation that will stand firm in faith and make a lasting impact for His kingdom.
